Metro PlayerS help Kent retain the Southern Area teams judo championship
This year's Southern Area Judo Championships was an exciting event, especially for Kent, as Metro Judo players played a key role in securing victory in the junior lightweight category. Outstanding performances from Olivia, Tyra, Ben, and Georgia helped Kent retain their title in this fiercely contested division.
Olivia and Tyra demonstrated exceptional skill and determination throughout their matches, showcasing why they are among the top young judokas in the region. Ben and Georgia also fought hard, contributing crucial victories that solidified Kent's dominance in the lightweight category.
Adding to the excitement, Ella put on an impressive performance in the junior middleweight division, earning a well-deserved bronze medal after a series of hard-fought matches.
